Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Complora, a training and compliance platform operated by Training Services International (“TSI”, “we”, “us”). By using the platform you agree to them. If you are using it on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you may accept these terms for that organisation.

Where a separate written agreement exists between TSI and your organisation, that agreement takes precedence over these terms if the two conflict.

Accounts are usually created by the organisation providing your training. Keep your credentials confidential, use the account only as yourself, and tell us promptly if you believe it has been compromised. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Access to a given organisation’s data is controlled by that organisation, which may grant or withdraw it at any time.

You agree not to:

• break the law, or infringe anyone’s rights, using the platform;
• attempt to access data belonging to another organisation or user, or probe, scan or test the security of the service without written permission;
• submit training work that is not your own, or otherwise misrepresent completion of a course or certification;
• upload malware, or content you have no right to share;
• use the platform to send unsolicited bulk email; or
• interfere with the service or place unreasonable load on it.

Falsifying training or certification records may carry regulatory consequences beyond these terms.

You keep ownership of the content you submit. You grant us the licence needed to host, process and display it in order to run the service, including generating certificates and regulatory exports.

You are responsible for having the right to submit the content you upload, including any personal data about other people.

You may optionally connect third-party accounts, such as a Google mailbox for sending email. Your use of those services remains governed by their own terms, and you can disconnect at any time from the Connectors page. What we access and store is described in our Privacy Policy.

We aim to keep the platform available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, and will give reasonable notice of material changes that affect paying customers.

The platform, its software and its branding belong to TSI and its licensors. These terms grant you no rights in them beyond using the service as intended.

The platform is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Complora helps organisations record and manage compliance activity. It does not itself constitute legal, regulatory or safety advice, and it does not guarantee that any organisation or individual is in compliance with AHERA, OSHA, EPA or any other requirement. Responsibility for compliance stays with you.

To the fullest extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability arising out of the service is limited to the amounts paid to us for it in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

You may stop using the platform at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are breached, if required by law, or if an organisation’s subscription ends. Training records may be retained afterwards as described in the Privacy Policy, since regulated training carries its own retention obligations.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules.

We may update these terms and will revise the date above. Continuing to use the platform after a change means you accept the updated terms.
